San Antonio was named the top metro for fireworks sales, in a report issued by SizeUp and covered by the San Antonio Business Journal. According to the business journal, “San Antonio is a patriotic city. It is home to Joint Base San Antonio, which encompasses Lackland, Fort Sam Houston and Randolph, and thousands of active duty military and veterans.” Kansas City ranked #2, for as the Kansas City Star wrote, “Kansas Citians love to blow stuff up.” Miami came in 3rd place, as documented by the South Florida Business Journal.
